From August 19 to 26, 2026, the “Summer School” conference for young scientists from the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus was held in Changchun, China. Organized by the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the event aimed to showcase advanced achievements in materials science.

PTI NAS of Belarus was represented by Daniil Zinevich—Chair of the Institute’s Council of Young Scientists and a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Plasma Process Physics and the Laboratory of Surface Phenomena Physics.

As part of the program, young scientists from Belarus and China presented their research findings through presentations, exchanged expertise, and explored modern developments in materials science, electrochemistry, catalysis,  energy storage and conversion. Participants visited research institutes and laboratories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and attended a series of lectures.

The event served as an effective platform for strengthening scientific and technical cooperation, expanding professional networks, and generating collaborative ideas that could form the basis for future international projects.
