As part of a business trip to Chongqing (PRC), employees of the PTI NAS of Belarus – scientific secretary Anna Basalai, Deputy Head of the Department of Electron Beam Technologies and Plasma Physics Dzmitry Antanovich, and Head of the Modeling and Development Sector Aliaksandr Zizika – took part in the Belarusian-Chinese Forum of Scientific and Technical Innovations on High-Tech Equipment and Intelligent Production, organized on the basis of the Chongqing Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). During the forum, scientific reports were presented.

As part of the business program, a visit to the exhibition space and laboratories of the Chongqing Research Institute of HIT took place. Representatives of the Belarusian side got acquainted with the material and technical base of the institution, the organization of research activities and the implemented scientific areas, including in the field of creating new materials, advanced functional coatings, ceramics and intellectual production.

An important part of the visit was negotiations with leading scientists of the Chongqing Research Institute and Harbin Institute of Technology. Promising areas of scientific cooperation, the possibility of preparing joint Belarusian-Chinese scientific projects, the formation of research teams and the development of project proposals were discussed.

The delegation also visited Chongqing Dencare Oral Care Products Co., Ltd., where they got acquainted with the practical experience of using robotic systems, automated sorting and transportation systems, packaging equipment, AGV-carts, robotic arms and machine control systems.
