From August 25 to 28, 2026, Ivan Vegera, Director of PTI NAS of Belarus, as part of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus delegation, visited Novosibirsk. During the visit, he participated in the XIII International Technological Development Forum “Technoprom-2026” and held a number of working meetings with representatives of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS).

The visit included discussions on promising areas for scientific and technical cooperation and the development of joint projects, including those within the framework of the Union State. Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between PTI NAS of Belarus and the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis of the SB RAS.

The meetings resulted in agreements to intensify joint research, facilitate the exchange of specialists, and expand collaboration between scientific organizations of the NAS of Belarus and the Siberian Branch of the RAS.
