The exhibition of scientific and technological achievements “Intellectual Belarus” was held on the basis of the National Exhibition Center BelExpo (Minsk, Pobediteley Ave., 14) from January 20-29. At the exhibition, scientists from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, representatives of educational institutions, research public and private organizations of the country, technology parks that are engaged in scientific research demonstrated their achievements and developments.

More than 400 exhibits were presented at the exhibition. These are full-scale samples (including large-sized equipment), layouts, multimedia presentations on large screens. Within the framework of the exhibition, the following developments were presented from the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus: Heavy-duty ring gears made of 40KhMFA steel of heavy-duty dump trucks of JSC “BELAZ”, subjected to ion chemical-thermal treatment; Medical implants with biocompatible protective and decorative coatings; Cast knives of the harvester head of logging equipment; A model demonstrating the prospects for processing lithium-ion cells using hydrometallurgy methods.
