On March 28, 2023, as part of the Congress of Young Scientists of Belarus and Russia, a meeting of section 3 “Technical Sciences and Industry” was held at the Institute of Physics and Technology.
On the topics of the Belarusian-Russian youth scientific cooperation, the work of the Congress is carried out in seven areas:
The section was opened by Academician-Secretary of the Department of Physical and Technical Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Shcherbakov Sergey Sergeevich with the report “On the Way to Technological Sovereignty. Achievements and innovations of the Department of Physical and Technical Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”.
The report “Innovative industrial technologies and equipment in the field of material processing and surface engineering” was presented by the director of the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Ph.D. Zalesski Vitali.
More than 10 reports of young scientists from Belarus and Russia were presented. All the reports aroused great interest and active discussion.
At the end of the meeting, excursions were organized to the leading laboratories, production sites and the museum, during which young scientists were able to get acquainted with the history, developments and equipment of the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
