From September 26 to 28, 2023, the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus took part in the 26th International Exhibition of Technologies and Innovations in Industry “TechInnoProm 2023”.

On September 27, 2023, as part of the business program of the exhibition, the “Innovation Forum” was held. Russia – Belarus”, where current issues of scientific and technological development of the Union State in the context of geopolitical challenges and threats were discussed.

The purpose of the event: exchange of experience in the field of technology transfer and innovation, presentation of successful models of cooperation between scientific organizations, universities and industrial partners of the two countries. Within the framework of the forum, the need to find alternative sources of financing for joint scientific and technical developments and close interaction between scientific organizations of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation was outlined.

Deputy Director for Research Igor Smyaglikov took part in two sessions of the forum: “Mechanisms for technology transfer. Development of network cooperation between technology transfer centers of Russia and Belarus” and “Successful models of cooperation between universities, scientific organizations and industrial partners of the two countries” and made a report “Cooperation of the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus with organizations of the Russian Federation”.
