Kirill Podbolotov, the Head of the Structural Analysis Sector, was awarded the Grant of the President of the Republic of Belarus in the field of science for the development and research of ceramic structural materials based on complex carbide-oxide compounds for armor protection products, mechanical engineering and aerospace complex with increased resistance to thermomechanical and kinetic effects.
The work is based on the conducted comprehensive studies on the development of new methods for producing carbide compounds, as well as composite carbide-oxide systems, in conjunction with the established features of structural and phase transformations. The materials obtained during the work will be used to create energy-efficient synthesis technologies and materials for body armor protection, mechanical engineering and aerospace complex followed by their introduction into production.
