On May 13, 2021 the cooperation agreement between Brest State Technical University and State Scientific Institution «The Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus» was signed. The cooperation comprises advanced training, improvement of the level of proficiency and competence of academic and teaching staff, improvement of the education and science quality.
Within the activities of the signed cooperation and in order to develop the technologies of the Vth and VIth waves of innovation of the economic development strategy of the Republic of Belarus, the branch of Applied Mechanics Department of Brest State Technical University was also opened on the basis of PTI NAS of Belarus.
The branch was established to improve the quality of engineering staff training, to develop research and development training of specialists, to combine and effectively use the scientific and technological potential for the development of fundamental and applied researches in the field of mechanical engineering.
