On June 22-25, 2022, PhTI NAS of Belarus took part in the Ist International security industry exhibition «National Security – 2022» as a part of the National Academy of Sciences exposition.

The exhibition was held as a complex of congress and exhibition activities aimed at creating a communication environment to discuss innovative ideas, to exchange information about industrial and technological achievements in the field of special means, special vehicles and warfare, as well as to show high-tech, innovative products and ready-made solutions aimed at improving the technical capacity of law enforcement authorities and other military and security bodies, whose activities are aimed at the implementation of state policy of the Republic of Belarus in the field of national security.

The major directions of the exhibition were the following:

• Equipping military and security services with special technical means. Police equipment
• Information and digital security technologies of the country
• The system of anti-terrorist protection of terrorist-vulnerable objects. “Safe City”
• Technical means of border protection
• Technical means and systems for preventing accidents, catastrophes and eliminating their consequences
• Special fire safety equipment
• Equipment and components used in disaster medicine
• Industrial and environmental security means

PhTI NAS of Belarus presented the following developments:

• Bulletproof vests of «Rubin» series
• Shielding metal coatings transparent to the visible range for displays and housings of electronic objects
• Composite nanocoatings based on diamond-like carbon
• Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Protective Tablet
• Composite armor panels for bulletproof vests of Br2, Br5, Br4 protection classes
• Armor ceramic products based on sintered aluminum oxide
