From March 10 to March 12, 2023, the head of the department of the institute I.L. Pobol took part in the International Industrial Exhibition “International Trade and Industry Fair” in Karachi (Pakistan) as part of the collective exposition of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

“International Trade and Industry Fair” is the largest specialized forum in the South Asian region. More than 350 companies from different countries take part in the exhibition every year.

Companies that produce industrial, petrochemical, diagnostic products, materials and equipment, as well as provide educational services, perform research and development work, presented their developments at the exhibition.

As part of the exhibition, a business forum was held, during which the participants presented their products to the Pakistani audience.

Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus presented developments in the following areas:

technologies and equipment for ion chemical-thermal treatment;

energy efficient induction heating technologies;

technologies and equipment for magnetic-pulse processing – shaping and hardening of metal products;

technology and equipment for applying composite nanostructured coatings.
