On February 10, 2022, the Minister of Economics Alexander Chervyakov visited Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The Minister of Economics got acquainted with scientific and technical developments and discussed their possible application in such fields as metallurgy, mechanical engineering, building industry. The director of the Institute Vitali Zaleski made a report «Innovative projects in the field of implementing advanced industrial technologies of casting, material treatment and surface engineering» and presented the proposals on implementing the following complex projects:

1. Creation of the center for services, design of the equipment and new technologies in the field of casting, hardening and heat treatment
2. Digital platform for «green» technology support in the industry
3. Creation of the production on hardening and reconditioning of metal- and woodworking tools

The delegation also visited production sectors and R&D laboratories of PhTI of Belarus.
