PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “WELDING AND CUTTING 2023”

From April 4 to April 7, 2023, the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus took part in the 22nd international specialized exhibition “Welding and Cutting 2023” as part of the annual industrial and technological forum.

The exhibition was held simultaneously with the international specialized exhibitions “Metalworking”, “Engineering”, “Powder Metallurgy”, “Corrosion Protection. Coatings”, “Litemetexpo: Casting and Metallurgy”, “Automation. Electronics” and “Electrotech. Light”.

At least 100 participants from Belarus, Russia, China, Israel, South Korea and other countries demonstrated new products and services of enterprises. A variety of machine tools of different price ranges were presented at the exposition.

Exhibitors presented new developments and technologies of their companies in the following areas:

  1. materials for welding, surfacing and soldering;
  2. equipment and technologies for welding, cutting, surfacing, soldering and heat treatment;
  3. power sources and control systems for welding equipment;
  4. equipment for orbital welding and pipe processing;
  5. electron beam, laser, plasma welding and cutting; automated integrated systems and units for welding and cutting;
  6. automation of welding production and technological processes, software;
  7. devices for non-destructive testing of welded joints;
  8. scientific and information support of welding;
  9. system of training, retraining and certification of welders;
  10. labor protection and environmental safety in welding production;
  11. certification of welding equipment.

The Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus presented developments in the following areas: products obtained by the additive electron beam method, technologies and equipment for ion chemical-thermal treatment, composite nanocoatings based on diamond-like carbon, energy-efficient induction heating technologies, and magnetic-pulse processing technologies.
