As part of the visit at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, on November 27, the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was visited by a delegation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, headed by the President of the Academy, Kamil Nurullaevich Ramazanov.

For reference: On November 27, 2023, negotiations between the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the delegation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan led by President Kamil Ramazanov took place. The current state of cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and scientific organizations of Bashkortostan, the progress of the implementation of the Action Plan for the development of scientific and technical cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus for 2023 – 2025, as well as promising directions for the development of interaction were discussed.

During the visit to the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, was organized a visit to the institute’s production sites in the following areas: nitriding, electron beam welding, technologies and equipment for applying diamond-like carbon coatings.

During the negotiations, the parties paid special attention to the production of tools and the issues of applying hardening coatings. There was also interest in developments related to heat-resistant and ceramic coatings.

The parties agreed to organize a number of seminars in various areas with the involvement of industry representatives of the Republic of Bashkortostan to develop scientific and technical interaction between the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus.
