The Department was established in 2016 as a result of the reorganization of the Research Center for Induction Technology and Heat Treatment Challenges
As a part of PTI NAS Belarus, the Department is established as a structure authorized to perform the whole complex of works
conducting research and development of the theory of phase and structural transformations as well as modifying the properties of metals and alloys depending on heat treatment modes
development of heat treatment technological processes of various metal finished and semi-finished parts
development of design and technological documentation, manufacture of the equipment and die tooling for induction, laser and plasma heating
introduction of technological processes and manufactured equipment at industrial enterprises, supervision of their application and further repairing and overhauling
